CrossFit Southeast Ohio was opened up in 2010 by Jolene Quirke. CrossFit is not like your average gym, it has a variety of assorted classes offered at CrossFit SEO, which ranges from CrossFit for Kids to Group Class workouts. CrossFit is an environment where everyone is family, and all ages can work out at CrossFit SEO.

CrossFit SEO started by Jolene Quirke in 2010, she felt in love with the combination of gymnastics and weightlifting by watching her best friend in a CrossFit competition. “I wanted to start CrossFit SEO in Southeastern Ohio, because there was nothing close to me like that,” Quirke said.

CrossFit SEO follows a methodology just like the rest of the CrossFit’s around the world, each individual athlete is getting coached in every single class. “We take pride in making sure all athletes are moving mechanically sound and safety, while having fun! That is our ultimate goal,” Quirke said.

Quirke is a mom of three, and it is very difficult for her as a mom, owning a gym and working many hours at CrossFit SEO. “I do love what I do, but I do feel as if I’m being pulled in many directions. I wonder if I’m present with them enough as that is my number one priority,” Quirke said.

Grenert has been coming to CrossFit SEO, because he needed core strength since he does yard work a lot. “I have noticed that I don’t have any more problems, and I have been coming here for two years,” Grenert said.

CrossFit kids was made for the kids to utilize what exercising can do and help kids with movements in all types of sports and very functional in life. “I incorporate a lot of foundational gymnastics, as moving our bodies in space is essential to life,” Quirke said.

CrossFit SEO is very welcoming and feels like family for everyone according to Seckinger. “My favorite part about SEO is how we all feel like a family, especially when Jolene brings in JoElaine ‘Joey’ she feels like my own daughter,” Seckinger said.
